For the sake of the coming generations and the future of the children of the country vote for the opposition presidential pair, says Jumhooree Party (JP)’s council member Aishath Nahula.
JP’s council member and JP leader Qasim Ibrahim’s wife, Aishath Nahula said this while speaking to the people of AA. Rasdhoo on Friday, during her campaign trip to the atoll.
She said the opposition’s voyage is one against oppression and injustice. This work is not for the benefit of a particular individual or a specific party, rather the reform work is for the coming generations and their due rights. The candidate that will be most loyal and truthful to the people is candidate number 2, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, therefore vote for him to end this oppression, Aishath Nahula said.
She also visited AA. Ukulhas and noted that the people of that island are unique in their courage and perseverance, which is evident by the work done by the island council. She had also appealed the people of Ukulhlas to vote for the opposition presidential pair.
Aishath Nahula said that it is her greatest wish that the people of the island, especially the women, work with the opposition alliance to reach victory on the September 23 vote.
Aishath Nahula, along with JP’s team had travelled to AA. Feridhoo and Himandhoo during the campaign trip to garner support for the opposition.
