Three expatriates have been arrested with drugs inside a parliament member’s car on Saturday.
Police media officer said they carried out an operation after receiving reports that expatriates were using narcotics inside a car around 8:00 p.m. tonight. The operation revealed rubber packets containing suspected narcotics in the backseat of the car, police said.
Three expatriates, one of whom was the driver of the car, were arrested during the operation, police revealed.
Police further stated that all three expatriates were Bangladeshi nationals, aged 21, 25 and 28.
Although VNews has learned that the car belongs to a parliament member, the police have not yet revealed the identity of the car owner.
