Bank of Maldives (BML) has renewed the official sponsorship with the Football Association of Maldives (FAM).
The agreement, renewing the sponsorship for two more years, was signed at a special ceremony held at BML head office on Monday morning.
Deputy CEO and Director of Operations Mohamed Shareef signed the agreement on behalf of BML, while FAM's President Bassam Adeel Jaleel signed on behalf of FAM.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof.
Under the agreement, BML will be the official sponsor of both senior men's and women's national teams along with youth teams. As per the agreement, BML's branding will be exhibited during the matches and trainings sessions and will also be displayed on travel kits used by the teams.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shareef said it is a great pleasure to witness the continued relations between BML and FAM.
Shareef also stated that the whole nation eagerly awaits the success of national teams, especially in international tournaments, and BML will ensure their role to bolster the teams' performance in this regard.
