Health Protection Agency (HPA) has issued waning over the increase in the number of cases of dengue and viral fever detected in the country.
According to the health alert issued by HPA today, as the agency’s recent statistics show a rise in the number of dengue and viral fever cases, it urges the community to practice caution.
HPA urged residents to get rid of potential mosquito breeding sites such as vessels that can hold stagnant water.
“We urge all to wear clothes that cover the body, close doors in houses, give priority to cleanliness, and to use mosquito repellent lotions”, read the health alert.
HPA also urged residents to seek medical attention if fever does not subside in three days.
