Dark Rain Entertainment’s Dhivehi thriller “Mikoe Bappa Baey Baey” has been released.
The movie, which makes its debut into the Maldivian cinemas under a new style, was premiered last night at Olympus, and will continue on until next Friday.
The movie revolves around a father who has been rendered as an amnesiac following a near-death accident, a child who is being heavily affected by the tragedy’s aftermath, and a mother who is trying to save what is left of her family.
From Dark Rain Entertainment, movie producer Mohamed Ali Mogar expressed hopes that movies such as this would be well-acclaimed by the Maldivian audience; while he, himself, was satisfied with the turnout on the screening of the movie.
He stressed that Dark Rain Entertainment always strives to bring in new and fresh variety of ideas to the Maldivian film industry.
For that, he appealed that the movie is to be watched as by many people as possible.
While the movie is directed by famous dancer and actor Ravi Faarooq, the cast includes Mohamed Manik, Aishath Rishmee, as well as a special appearance by Koyya Hassan Manik.
