B. Kendhoo council has held a women’s cooking contest.
Council member Mohamed Aashan told Vnews that they held the contest with the help of Kendhoo’s Shaan Bistro Café.
Aashan said the contest showcased Maldivian cuisines, and aimed to sharpen cooking skills and deepen friendship between women.
Experienced chiefs judged the contest, which saw a total of five teams with 25 women.
“Rahameeru” team got first place, Kendhoo School’s PTA team won second, and “Kaalamaa” team from Kendhoo Health Centre won third.
